Cross Arthurlie ECO Committee

In September 2007, the ECO Schools Scotland team were delighted to announce that they had presented the 500th Green Flag award to a Scottish School.

To celebrate the event, all Green Flag schools were invited to contribute a patchwork square of their own design towards the making of a commemorative wall hanging. 

This poster is a collage of all the squares contributed. 

Cross Arthurlie are pleased to say that we participated in this celebration and our square is on the bottom line 3^rd from the right.

Mrs Mitchell would also like to thank the ECO committee for all their hard work last session.

The garden at the front of the school is looking fantastic. We've added another verse to our ECO code We commissioned a 40th Anniversary mural The whole school "dressed as we pleased" in March to raise over £200 to help fund the mural. We continue to monitor litter and make every effort to ensure we save energy.

The school was awarded our 2nd Green Flag during 2007. We are very grateful to all staff, pupils and parents who helped the committee last session.
