We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a £10 000
"Awards
for All" grant to develop an "active
garden" area in the P3-7 Playground. We are grateful to Gary
McGunnigle (our Active Schools Coordinator)
for assisting us with this venture.
 These
Active Trails are very expensive. We currently have enough money to purchase a
Smokey Mountain Trail - and we would also
like to install a special all weather surface that still lets the grass grow
through it.
We still need to raise more money to enable us to
provide a proper access path to the garden.
We thought that you might like to see some more details of our Active Garden.
The actual trail itself is now built and looks fantastic. We are fundraising
hard to try to pay for the safe access path. |
