MACS Out of School Care
MACS Breakfast Club is available from 7.45-9.00am weekdays and costs £1 per child per day (and is subsidised by East Renfrewshire Council). It has been running since last year and is currently registered for 32 children. Liz Peters manages the Breakfast Club and is assisted by 2 play-carers. The Catering Department provides a healthy breakfast for all children and MACS staff provide various activities for the children, including board games, toys and arts & crafts.
MACS After-School Care runs from 3-6pm weekdays, and takes children from Cross Arthurlie, Springhill Primary, St Mark's and St John's. MACS After-school is registered for 40 places and still has limited availability.
MACS Holiday Club was opened in October 2005 and will be available to all children in Barrhead, Neilston and Uplawmoor areas.
